Travis Gordon is an International Award-Winning photographer noted for his personal, candid and emotive black and white images. His body of work is a reflection of his personal and spiritual fascination of the natural world and its patterns, forms and textures. For him, beauty can be found everywhere, particularly in the smallest details and in the most fleeting moments. He applies this vision across a range of subjects including portraiture, nature, and cityscapes. He aspires to create timeless memories out of these often overlooked moments seeking to draw the viewer in to pause and reflect and truly see the beauty in everything.
His passion for photography began nearly 25 years ago in his hometown of New Orleans. It was there that he first picked up his father’s 1970s era Nikon and began learning how to use it. This curiosity evolved into a formal education in the fine arts when he headed west to attend the University of Southern California earning a degree in photography from the school of Cinema-Television.
Currently, Travis photographs environmental portraiture for a variety of artists for both commercial and editorial use, lifestyle family portraiture, nature, and commissioned fine art work. His images have been part of numerous shows, exhibitions, album artwork, artist websites and privately held fine art collections.
He currently resides in Pasadena, California with his wife and young son.
